The number of foreigners who preferred Turkey for their holidays increased by 11.58 percent in 10 months compared to the same period last year.

MOST OF THE VISITORS ARE FROM RUSSIA

Among the countries that sent the most visitors to Turkey in the January-October period, the Russian Federation took first place with an increase of 26.02 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and 5 million 838 thousand 203 people.

Germany came in second place with an increase of 8.38 percent and 5 million 715 thousand 838 people, and in third place was England (United Kingdom) with an increase of 12.28 percent and 3 million 598 thousand 870 people. Bulgaria and Iran followed England.

GERMANY OCCUPIES FIRST IN OCTOBER

The number of foreigners visiting Turkey in October increased by 3.83 percent compared to the same month last year, reaching 4,987,112.

In the list of countries that sent the most visitors in October, Germany took first place with 860 thousand 635 people, the Russian Federation took second place with 672 thousand 198 people and England (United Kingdom) took third place with 441 thousand 449 people, compared to the same month. month of the previous year.
