SGK raised 25 billion lira from restructured debts
The Social Security Institution (SGK) raised more than 25 billion lira from debt restructuring of 166.7 billion lira until October.
More than 1,700,000 people requested SSI for concepts such as insurance premiums, administrative fines and General Health Insurance debts, and debt restructuring requests within the scope of the Law on the Restructuring of Certain Credits ended on July 3.
Although the institution was restructured for a total of credits of 166.7 billion lira, more than 25 billion lira of the credits in question were collected by October, after payment in cash and the first four installments.
Taking into account the collections that will be made in the coming months and the postponements in the earthquake zone, the Institution’s collection amount within the framework of debt restructuring is expected to increase even further. (AA)
