Privatization has accelerated, not transformation
By decision of the President, the privatization of 46 state-owned properties was approved with development plans that will transform them into commercial and residential areas. In addition, the sale of properties, each more valuable than the other, to individuals and companies was approved. As a result of the latest sales frenzy, 1 billion 414 million 550 thousand TL will enter the state coffers, but tens of thousands of square meters of valuable land and plots will leave the state inventory and enter the property title registries of the companies.

Real estate development plans belonging to the Treasury, Sugar Factories, General Directorate of Forestry, Sümer Holding and Türkiye Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. on 46 separate plots located in the most valuable places of Ankara, Istanbul, İzmir, Antalya, Bursa, By decision of the President of the provinces of Nevşehir, Çanakkale and Karaman their privatization was approved.
Objections to the zoning plan for some of these properties were also rejected and a decision was made to privatize them. With the zoning changes, these state-owned real estate will be converted into commercial, tourist and residential areas and sold.
