The Competition Authority considered it appropriate to impose a total administrative fine of 108 million 566 thousand 510 liras on 9 companies in the cosmetics and personal care products sector for violating competition rules.
According to the Competition Authority’s statement, the Board concluded its investigations into the cosmetics and personal care products industry with an undertaking.
In this context, Ayaz and Partners Ltd. Limited. It was decided that the investigation into alleged participation in the “collection and distribution cartel” would conclude with a commitment and an administrative fine of 1 million 83 thousand 338 lira would be imposed on the company.
It was decided to impose an administrative fine of 184 thousand 676 liras on SB Grup Kozmetik AÅž for the same reason.
It was considered appropriate to end the investigation against Rebul JCR Kozmetik Pazarlama AÅž, due to the accusation that it determined the sales prices of its resellers, with a commitment and impose an administrative fine of 5 million 357 thousand 951 liras on the company.
The investigation into allegations that sellers fixed resale prices and restricted Internet sales concluded with an undertaking in terms of conduct aimed at restricting Internet sales and a settlement in terms of the resellers’ claim to fix resale prices .
SANCTIONS RECEIVED BY COMPANIES
