The Ministry of Treasury and Finance borrowed a total of 18 thousand 587.2 million lira in 2 tenders held today.

In the first tender, a zero-coupon Treasury bill with a maturity of 11 months (343 days) was reissued. In the tender, the simple interest was 39.62 and the compound interest was 40.3.

In the tender where the nominal bid was 6,561 million liras, the nominal sales were 1,581 million liras and the net sales were 1,151.2 million liras.

In the tender, in which no offers were received from the public, an offer of 161 million lira was received from market makers and 100 million lira were sold to this sector.

In the second auction, government bonds with a maturity of 4 years (1435 days), coupon payments every 3 months and indexed to the Turkish lira overnight reference rate (TLREF) were reissued. The periodic interest of the auction was 7.94.

In the tender where the nominal bid was 22 billion 963 million lira, the nominal sales were 9 billion 550 million lira and the net sales were 9 billion 336 million lira.

In the tender in which no offers were received from the public, offers from market makers worth 12.222 billion liras were received and 8 billion liras were sold to this sector.

Thus, the Treasury borrowed a total of 18 billion 587.2 million lire in 2 tenders. (AA)
