Has the October home care subsidy been deposited into the accounts?
Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş recalled in his written statement that home care, one of the most important family care service models offered by the ministry, was launched in 2006 with the idea of helping disabled people mainly with their families.
PAYMENT FOR HOME CARE STARTED TO BE PAID
Stating that family integrity is protected by supporting citizens who care for their fully dependent family members who need care with home assistance, Minister Göktaş said: “As a Ministry, we develop policies from a rights-based perspective so that disabled people can fully access their fundamental rights such as education, health, security and employment. “We are trying to reach all members of society with the holistic and fair social service models that we have developed,” he said.
Minister Göktaş stated that 5 thousand 97 TL per beneficiary per month is paid within the scope of home assistance and said: “This month, we started depositing a total of 2.8 billion TL of home assistance into accounts for citizens fully dependents and their families who need care. Currently, 561,000 citizens benefit from home care. As a Ministry, we will continue our work within the framework of our Turkey Century Vision to ensure that our disabled citizens are members of a strong and productive Turkey and actively participate in all areas of social life. “I hope the payments will be beneficial to all of our disabled citizens and their families,” he said.
