Controversial Israeli measure by McDonald’s

McDonald’s distributes free hamburgers to Israeli soldiers

As the Israeli siege and bombing of Gaza continues, the famous US-based McDonald’s restaurant chain made a controversial announcement.

According to posts made from the “McDonald’s Israel” account on social media platforms, the company distributes 4,000 boxes of food to the Israeli army each day.

The company also offers a 50 percent discount to Israeli soldiers and other security forces who go to McDonald’s restaurants.

Reporting on the company’s social media posts, US-based news site Business Insider noted that the Israeli army, which was distributing free food, imposed a full siege on Gaza and cut off access to water, food, medicine and fuel to the city.

According to a message from the company yesterday, McDonald’s distributed a total of 12,000 boxes of food to soldiers, police, hospitals and settlers throughout the Gaza Strip in recent days. Five restaurants were opened with the sole purpose of distributing food to soldiers.

Many people, especially Palestinians, reacted to the posts made by McDonald’s on social media.

HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN WERE KILLED

Following the attacks by the Palestinian organization Hamas, which infiltrated Israel from Gaza, Israel, which received the full support of the United States, launched a harsh attack on Gaza, targeting children and women.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that at least 1,537 people, including 447 children, lost their lives and more than 6,600 were injured in the Israeli attacks.

It was announced that the number of Israelis killed in Hamas attacks exceeded 1,300.
