Turkcell’s new CEO announced
Turkcell’s board of directors decided to appoint Ali Taha Koç, head of the Presidential Office of Digital Transformation, as general manager.
According to Turkcell’s statement to KAP, the appointment will be effective from October 13, 2023.
On the other hand, Turkcell announced that Murat Erkan, who had served as General Manager of Turkcell for four years, resigned from his position, effective September 11, 2023.
AKSU’S TASK LAST 10 DAYS
Bülent Aksu was appointed CEO in Erkan’s place on September 14; However, Aksu’s duty ended that same month. Aksu was able to remain in office for about 10 days.
According to information contained in Turkcell’s new appointment announcement today, Koç, who completed his master’s and doctoral studies at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas in the US, in addition to his various roles at the Presidency, he also served as the director of Türksat Uydu İletişim Kablo TV ve İşletme A.Ş.
