Industry capacity utilization increased in September
The Central Bank (CBRT) announced manufacturing industry capacity utilization rate data for September 2023.
According to the results of the Economic Trends Survey conducted with 1,743 workplaces operating in the manufacturing industry in September 2023, capacity utilization in the manufacturing industry increased in September.
The seasonally adjusted Capacity Utilization Rate (CUR-MA) across the manufacturing industry increased 1.2 points compared to the previous month and reached 76.9 percent.
The capacity utilization rate (CUR), without adjusting for seasonal effects, increased by 1.2 points compared to the previous month and reached 77.3 percent.
In September, the CUR decreased 5.2 points to 78.3 percent in investment goods, 0.4 points to 73.3 percent in non-durable consumer goods and 73.4 percent with a decrease of 0 .1 points in durable consumer goods.
