AKP statement on pensions

While studies continue on the planned regulation in the field of pensions, the AKP made a statement in this regard.

In a statement on pensions, AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler recalled that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gave instructions to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security on the issue and said: “Without disturbing the balance of the budget; “What amount could emerge? Work is currently underway,” he said.

‘IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GIVE DATE AND NUMBERS’

Stating that it is not possible to give dates and figures until the studies are completed, Güler included the following statements in his statements on the subject:

“With the earthquake on February 6, a budget of around 765 billion Turkish lira was transferred from the central budget to our AFAD Presidency and the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. We had issued the additional budget before parliament closed; 1 trillion 119 billion TL. We increased debt limits again.

Without disturbing the balance of the budget; It is currently being studied how some could arise. It does not seem possible to give a date and figure until this study is clarified. A serious study is underway to determine how we can offer these opportunities without upsetting the budget balance. If the studies are completed in October or November and presented to Parliament, we will work quickly on this issue. Our Ministry of Treasury, Finance and Labor is making great efforts in this regard.” (DHA)
