The Treasury borrowed 47.2 billion lira in two bond auctions

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance borrowed a total of 47 thousand 234.8 million lira in two bond auctions held today.

In the first tender, government bonds indexed by the TLREF were reissued with a maturity of 4 years (1372 days) and coupon payments every 3 months. The periodic interest of the tender was 3.75 percent.

In the tender where the nominal bid was 33 billion 75.5 million lira, the nominal sales were 8 billion 360 million lira and the net sales were 7 billion 776 million lira.

In the tender, in which the entire public offer of 2 billion lira was fulfilled, an offer of 22 billion 169.5 million lira was received from market makers and 10 billion lira was sold to this sector .

INTEREST RATES IN THE TENDER

In the second auction, fixed coupon government bonds were reissued with a maturity of 5 years (1771 days) and coupon payments every 6 months. In the tender, the simple interest was 26.36 percent and the compound interest was 28.09 percent.

In the tender where the nominal bid was 15 billion 630.1 million lira, the nominal sales were 11 billion 461 million lira and the net sales were 8 billion 958.8 million lira.

In the tender, in which the entire public offer of 3.5 billion liras was fulfilled, an offer from market makers of 23.301 million liras was received and 15 billion liras were sold to this sector.

Thus, the Treasury borrowed a total of 47,234.8 million lire in two tenders. (AA)
