Competition investigation into five companies operating in the cosmetics and food supplements sector
The Competition Board opened an investigation against some companies that operate through direct sales in the cosmetics, personal care and food supplements sectors.
As announced on the website of the Competition Board, in the preliminary investigation carried out on the companies in question, conclusions were reached on the allegation that the companies violated the relevant article of the Law on Protection of Competition by fix your resellers’ sales prices or restrict your online sales.
RESEARCH ON 5 COMPANIES
Considering that these conclusions were serious and sufficient, the Competition Board decided against Amway Türkiye Ltd. The Izmir branch opened an investigation against the Ersağ organization, the joint stock company for the marketing of cosmetic cleaning products and trade, the company anonymous Hunca Life Cosmetics Marketing Distribution Trade, the cosmetic products trading limited company Oriflame and the domestic and foreign trade limited company Tiens.
The Competition Board’s investigation decisions do not mean that the companies or associations of companies investigated have violated the Law and are or will face sanctions.
