Pensions for elderly and disabled people were deposited into accounts
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated that in September they deposited 3.3 billion lira in pensions for the elderly and disabled into the beneficiaries’ accounts.
According to the Ministry’s statement, Göktaş stated that services for disabled and elderly people are carried out within the framework of people-oriented and rights-based policies.
PAYMENT OF 1.8 BILLION TL IN SEPTEMBER
Stating that they made senior pension payments worth approximately 1.8 billion lira in September, Göktaş noted that they also transferred approximately 1.5 billion lira of disability pensions to the accounts.
Göktaş noted that they implement thematic social assistance programs for disabled and elderly people and said: “We also support our elderly and disabled citizens, whom we always support in their participation in education, health, economy and social life, with our regular payments. “In this regard, in September we deposited 3.3 billion lira of pensions for the elderly and disabled into the accounts of beneficiaries,” he said.
