Economic messages from President Erdogan: It is a reality that forces us
Receiving the President of the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, and his accompanying delegation in Beştepe, President Erdoğan congratulated all TOBB members on August 30, Victory Day.

Expressing that the problems and difficulties experienced in the global economy have various repercussions in Turkey, Erdoğan said: “It is a fact that inflation rates, which have reached the peaks of the last 60-70 years all over the world, are challenging as Good. We are aware of the difficulties faced by all sectors of society, especially our business circles. We are taking and will take steps to resolve them. Preparations for the Medium Term Programme, which will serve as the roadmap for the next period, are nearing completion. Hopefully we will share this with you and the public soon.” he said.
“WE ARE DETERMINED TO GROW THE TURKISH ECONOMY”
Erdoğan stated that the exorbitant price bubble caused by greed in some sectors is slowly deflating:
“Thanks to the measures we have taken, I hope that the market will regain balance in time. Our priority in the economy has not changed today like yesterday. We are determined to grow the Turkish economy through investment, employment, production, exports and current account surplus. Protecting and increasing vaccines, jobs and bread for our citizens is also one of our priorities in this period. We will never allow any regression, especially regarding the gains we have made as a result of long struggles. We will walk towards our goals together with you, as we have done so far.”
“WE COLLECT ITS FRUIT IN EACH AREA”
President Erdoğan pointed out that TOBB is a ceiling where production, trade, exports, employment and the entire Turkish economy are represented:
“Your suggestions, criticisms and strong support for our economic policies are of special importance to us. You know, we have always been in close consultation with you during our 21 years of rule. We have reaped the fruits of this in all fields, from production to employment. Hopefully, we will continue to cooperate with you in the future. I congratulate you on your unique contributions to the growth, development and well-being of Turkey, and I wish each of you success in your new role.” (AA)
