The Treasury borrowed 61.8 billion lira in two auctions

The Treasury and Finance Ministry borrowed 61 billion 847 million lira in two auctions held today.

In the first auction, the Ministry made direct sales of government bonds denominated in US dollars with a maturity of 2 years (728 days) and coupon payment every 6 months.

In the tender, where the nominal offer amounted to 61 billion 890 million liras, nominal sales amounted to 14 billion 61 million liras and net sales amounted to 25 billion 366.5 million liras. In the auction, the simple real interest was -11.23 percent and the compound real interest was -10.91 percent.

In the tender, in which no offers were received from the public, 74.882 billion liras were received from market makers and 20 billion liras were sold to this segment.

In the second auction, direct sales of lease certificates denominated in US dollars with a maturity of 2 years (728 days) and monthly rental payment were made.

In the tender, where the nominal offer amounted to 13,494 million liras, nominal sales amounted to 9,113 million liras and net sales amounted to 7,980.5 million liras. In the tender, the simple interest was 21.07 percent and the compound interest was 22.18 percent.

In the tender, in which the entire public offer of 1 billion liras was fulfilled, 12.133 million liras were received from market makers and 7.5 billion liras were sold to this segment.

Thus, the Treasury borrowed a total of 61 thousand 847 million liras in 2 auctions.
