The government is investing money in people’s gardens.
After the great Kahramanmaraş earthquake, thousands of citizens condemned to tents and containers wait for houses, while money is spent on ‘Nation’s Gardens’. Since 2018, more than 15 billion TL have been spent on the national gardens, which President Erdoğan said: “You will roll.”
In the first 6 months of this year, 151 national gardens were opened. 140 national gardens are also being built. For 144, the site selection, bidding and project phases have been reached. 2.174 million lira was spent for the national garden built at Istanbul Atatürk airport, whose runways were broken. The total amount paid by the national gardens between 2018 and 2023 was 11 billion TL. In 2023, a total of more than 4 billion TL was spent. The total amount paid since 2018 has exceeded 15 billion TL.

■Ağrı Murat River National Garden: 205 million TL.
■ Karabük National Garden: 194 million TL.
■Samsun Bafra National Garden: 193 million 361 thousand TL.
■ Ordu Altınordu National Garden: 192 million TL
■Ankara Sincan National Garden: 171 million 923 thousand TL.
■ Nevşehir Central National Garden: 169 million 169 thousand 169 TL.
■ Kocaeli Körfez National Garden: 161 million 98 thousand TL.
■ Van Tusba National Garden: 159 million 423 thousand TL.
■ Şanlıurfa Birecik National Garden: 151 million 800 thousand TL.
