Competition investigation against 15 companies operating in the cosmetics industry

The Competition Authority opened an investigation against some companies operating in the cosmetic and personal care products sector.

According to the announcement on the Competition Authority’s website, the preliminary investigation into the allegation that companies operating in the cosmetics and personal care products sector violated the relevant article of the Competition Law by determining resale prices, restricting their Internet sales, and participating in the wholesale cartel.

In discussing the information, documents and findings obtained in the preliminary investigation, the Competition Board found the findings to be serious and sufficient.
