Giant hike in gasoline! Here are the current prices

The rise in fuel prices continues. After the increase of 1 lira and 55 cents for gasoline, the rate of increase after the elections exceeded 90 percent.

After the last hike, gasoline prices rose to TL 37.71 in Istanbul, TL 38.23 in Ankara and TL 38.34 in Izmir.

There were no changes in the price of a liter of diesel. The price per liter of diesel is 38.34 lira in Istanbul, 38.83 lira in Ankara and 38.99 lira in Izmir.

HIGH RAIN AFTER THE ELECTIONS

The government, which cut taxes before the election and clamped down on exchange rates by depleting reserves, made record tax increases after the election and gradually raised the dollar rate.

The price of a liter of diesel, which was TL 18.58 in Istanbul on May 14, the first round of the elections, rose to TL 38.34 with the exchange rate and tax increases.

The rate of increase for diesel fuel in the three months after the election reached 106.4 percent.
