The export quantity index decreased 9.2 percent in June compared to the same month a year earlier. Compared with the same month of the previous year, the index decreased 11.4 percent in food, beverages and tobacco, 18.9 percent in raw materials (excluding fuels) and 11.4 percent in manufacturing (excluding food, beverages and tobacco), while in fuels it decreased 22.3 percent.
The export quantity index decreased by 5.1 percent in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the second quarter of the previous year.

The unit value index of imports decreased 15.6 percent in June compared to the same month of the previous year. The terms of foreign trade, which was calculated by dividing the export unit value index by the import unit value index and which was obtained at 76.5 in June 2022, increased 12.8 points to 89.3 in June 2023.
In the second quarter of 2023, the terms of foreign trade increased 12.4 points compared to the same period of the previous year and went to 88.1.
