The preliminary process of negotiation of the Seventh Period Public Collective Agreement, in which the economic and social rights of approximately 4 million civil servants and 2.5 million retired civil servants between 2024 and 2025 will be determined, has concluded.
According to the written statement made by Memur-Sen, in the commission’s studios, where some of its meetings were attended by the Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, the President of Memur-Sen Ali Yalçın and the Deputy Minister Faruk Özçelik, The articles related to the general and service branches were discussed.
Within the scope of the studies in which the offers of 11 branches of services were classified, including the general one, the proposals presented by Memur-Sen and its affiliated unions to the committee of public employers were discussed, as well as the demands and expectations of the officials public. they were examined.
OFFERS WILL BE NEGOTIATED
In the next stage of the collective agreement, the proposals will be negotiated in light of the reports that emerged from the commission’s work.
The negotiation process will begin tomorrow and end on August 12. The public employers’ committee is scheduled to present the first proposal on August 14.
The general proposals are expected to be negotiated in the collective agreement negotiations on August 15, with the government presenting the second proposal on August 17. (AA)
