Erdogan: Gulf countries have a situation to buy certain ‘assets’ from Turkey

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a press conference before his visit to the Gulf.

In search of external resources to extinguish the fire in the economy, President Erdogan embarked on the Gulf tour consisting of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Erdogan held a press conference before the trip.

In his speech, Erdogan said: “These countries will have a situation to buy certain ‘assets’ (assets) from Turkey.”

‘WE KNOW WHAT WE SELL AND WHAT WE CANNOT SELL’

Erdogan said in his speech:

“Our main agenda will be joint investment and commercial activities with these countries. Saudi Arabia has a special position in the fields of trade, investment and procurement, and we want Turkish companies to play a bigger role in Saudi Arabia’s large-scale projects.”

These visits have investment and financial aspects, we have high hopes for both. Our visit will be a continuation of the signals we received during the visits of Cevdet Yılmaz and Mehmet Şimşek.

Currently, Turkey will have a serious investment opportunity in three countries in the defense industry, investments in infrastructure and superstructure. In addition, these countries will have the opportunity to buy certain ‘assets’ from Turkey. But as some acrobats say. There is no such thing as ‘they are selling BOTAŞ’, we know very well what will sell and what will not.

THE TOUR OF THE GULF HAS BEGUN

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates from July 17 to 19.

Erdogan will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamed Al Thani, and United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, respectively.
