VAT increase on bridges and roads
VAT rise reached bridges and highways. As of July 10, 2023, the price of highway and bridge tolls has increased.
With the decision made last Friday, the VAT section of 18 percent was increased to 20 percent. As price hikes hit the market starting Monday, bridge and highway fares also increased.
HOW MUCH WERE THE BRIDGE AND HIGHWAY TRANSFER FEES?
The new rates for bridge and highway tolls were as follows:
* The toll for the Martyrs of July 15 and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges increased from 8.25 TL to 8.50 TL for one-way cars.
* Ankara-Niğde Expressway (Ankara Take entrance, Niğde Gölcük exit) increased from TL 138.50 to TL 140.
* Osmangazi Bridge toll increased from 184.50 TL to 190 TL.
* 1915 Çanakkale Bridge toll increased from 200 TL to 205 TL.
* Malkara-Çanakkale Expressway (Malkara entrance – 1915 Çanakkale Bridge exit) increased from TL 272.50 to TL 280.
