*As you know, a bill has reached Parliament at this time. In this bill, it is desired to make a regulation that brings the lowest salary of civil servants to 22 thousand lire. Of course, the critical issue here is that, in fact, a significant part of the rise is compared to the normal procedural rise, while a significant part of the rise above 17.75 comes from the insignificant.

* The government is doing something clever here. From now on, this floating figure will be determined as a fixed figure and this figure will not be the basis for any subsequent increase. In other words, it is clear that there was no increase of more than 8 thousand 77 lira in the July increase.

* Will not be held in January. Inflation is already high and the government has no intention of reducing inflation.

*Come on, that cannot be done, at least we said that it is necessary to give 2 thousand liras to everyone who travels. None of them was given. Already in April, retirees with a salary of more than 7,500 lire were badly affected, now all retirees are suffering in July.

“POVERTY LIMIT REACHED 4 TIMES AND LOWEST PENSION ROOM”

*Currently there are around 15 million retirees. There are SGK statements that the average pension is 8,500 lira, and 80 percent of retirees receive a salary from the lowest pension.

* In July, a significant part of retirees will continue to receive 7,500 liras because the increases are given on the base salary. They will not receive an increase unless it exceeds 7,500 lira.

*The hunger limit was 10,373 lira as of June, so the lowest pension is currently 2,873 lira below the hunger limit. The poverty line has reached four and a half times the lowest pension.

“YOU MUST ANNOUNCE AN ECONOMIC PROGRAM”

* The main problem is high inflation. We have said time and time again here that the growth of the numbers does not benefit anyone and will not increase purchasing power after we do not control inflation, but unfortunately the government does not have a policy to reduce inflation.

* The government was formed on June 3, 33 days have passed and we have only heard the words of an “economic program” from the Minister of Finance. Türkiye’s problems are huge. You have to explain an economic program and give all the details of it.

* As you know, the ex-minister of boyfriends resigned from Instagram. The current minister is explaining the so-called economic program in 3 sentences on Twitter. Let’s see, I guess the President will probably announce the 2024 budget from TikTok.

“OUR FINAL REQUEST…”

*Our final request is that the same increase that you have made in civil servants be made to both retired civil servants and retirees of SSK/BAĞKUR. This is essential. When we make everyone receive a salary from the lowest pension, we will face a very serious problem in the long term in terms of the social security system.

*Today, the government says: ‘I’m cutting costs a bit.’ He does not cut his own expenses, airfare, pomp, royalty, corruption, impudence, theft; He comes and rides on the citizen. Why would people put bonuses on higher salaries? Everyone receives the lowest pension anyway.

*Why should I work harder with more days and pay more bonuses? Currently, all those who pay premiums for 3,600 days and those who pay premiums for 11,000 days are receiving the same salary. We come from the amnesty made for the sale of one of his cows in his barn due to amnesties introduced by AK Party governments in the past, and we pay the people in this country with the money of a single cow.

* He has never paid a premium, he has premium paper for the delivery of a sunflower seed, you gave him the right to withdraw from it. On the one hand, there are people who deposit a premium of 10,000 days. There is no such injustice.

“RETIRED PEOPLE LIVE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY”

*Before this government arrived, in 2001, the lowest pension was one and a half times the minimum wage. If the minimum wage was 100, the lowest pension was 152. At the point we’ve reached today, this rate has dropped to 0.65.

* Decreased to 65% of the minimum wage. I would like to ask the government here: Don’t retirees experience the problems that employees experience? Do the retirees live in another country? Do retirees buy in another market? Is someone giving you something for free? Why do you condemn retirees to starvation?

*Is there somewhere that sells cheaper diesel, electricity, gasoline for retirees? Since these are not the case, this retiree grievance should be removed. Our call to the government is as follows: the same increases that we made in the salaries of civil servants, the increase that we made in the lowest salaries of civil servants, should be made to all retired and retired civil servants of SSK/BAĞKUR.
