President of MUSIAD: Dollar/TL may exceed 30 at the end of the year
Mahmut Asmalı, President of the Association of Independent Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (MUSIAD), made assessments of the sharp increase in the exchange rate after the elections.
“We did not expect such a sudden increase in the exchange rate,” said Asmalı, “We thought that (dollar/TL) would not exceed 30 s at the end of the year. However, with the latest increases, we think it may slightly exceed 30 TL by the end of the year.”
‘IF THE CBRT TARGETS 5 PERCENT INFLATION, THEIR CONFIDENCE IS IN QUESTION’
