Stating that there was a price increase on 23 out of 39 products on the market, Bayraktar said:

“In June, price increases were observed in 23 of 39 products and a price decrease in 16 of them. The product with the highest price increase in the market was eggplant with 47 percent. The rise in prices of eggplant was followed by green pepper with 27.6 percent, raisins with 26.3 percent, zucchini with 17.1 percent, onion with 16.7 percent and olive oil with 16.4 percent. The product whose price decreased the most in the market was watermelon with 32.3 percent. The decline in watermelon was followed by parsley at 22.2 percent, green beans at 19.4 percent, strawberries at 17.1 percent and carrots at 16.2 percent.

THE PRICE OF THE MOST LOWER CARROT AT THE PRODUCER

Bayraktar, who stated that 12 of the 31 manufacturer’s products saw a price increase and 11 a price decrease, drew attention to the fact that there was no price change on 8 products.

Emphasizing that the product with the greatest price drop at the producer was carrots with 63.3 percent, Bayraktar said: “The drop in the price of carrots is watermelon with 53 percent, strawberries with 38.7 percent, green beans with 27.9 percent, percent, cucumber with 24.4 percent and 12 percent. pumpkin followed with .5 percent. The greatest increase in producer prices was observed in green peppers with 40.6 percent. Bayraktar also referred to the reasons for the change in producer prices and used the following statements:

“Increased supplies of carrots, watermelons, green beans, cucumbers and courgettes in June caused prices to fall. On the other hand, the contraction in the demand for strawberries lowered the price.
