The minimum and maximum price limits for the daily electricity market have been determined.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) has determined the maximum and minimum price limits per megawatt-hour in the following day and balancing the energy markets.
EMRA’s decision on the matter was published in the Official Gazette.
Consequently, with the agreement of the Board of Directors dated July 3, 2015, the relevant article of the Procedures and Principles for the Determination of the Minimum and Maximum Price Limits in the Day-Ahead Market and in the Equilibrium Market was eliminated, which entered into force on June 21, 2015, was modified.
MAXIMUM PRICE LIMIT 2 thousand 700 TL
In this context, until the Board makes a new decision, the minimum price limits will be applied as a minimum of “0” lira per megawatt hour and the maximum price limit as 2,700 lira per megawatt hour.
On March 31, the minimum price limits in the relevant markets were set at “0” lira per megawatt-hour, and the maximum price limits were set at 2,600 lira per megawatt-hour. (AA)
