Earthquake may affect housing costs

Housing costs doubled in five months after the earthquake. The government has not yet announced the conditions under which earthquake housing will be provided. CHP Vice President Ahmet Akın stated that he had heard that AKP was looking for a formula to not fulfill its promise of housing to earthquake victims due to rising costs.

Accordingly, the construction cost of a 105-square-meter low-rise house, which was announced to be built in the earthquake zone, is 666,750 lira; The cost of building an apartment-type house is 716 thousand 625 liras. Earthquake survivors expect to be homeowners at these costs,” he said.

The government shouldn’t think about it,” he said.

‘Housing for 1 million TL is impossible’
