With just a few days to go before Eid-al-Adha, preparations began in the butcher shops. While the density of butchers is expected on the second day of Eid al-Adha, citizens who want to eat minced meat will have to pay 10 TL per kilo this year.
‘INTENSITY STARTS FROM THE SECOND DAY’
Hasan Cluster, the Edirne butcher, said:
“Last year, the weight of the meat grinder was 5 lire, this year we estimate that it will be around 10 lire. The intensity starts from the second day of the vacation and continues until the end of the vacation. We are doing our best too. We will pack and prepare minced meat from those who come in turn until the evening. We will return it clean.
After cutting the meat on the first day of Eid al-Adha, the meat is aired out a bit and placed in the cupboard and left to rest for a day. After resting, it is brought in in its entirety on the second day; We clean it, we prepare it, we make the cubes”. (PHOENIX)
