1.1 million cars and 10 million refrigerators were produced in Turkey last year
In 2022, 1 million 119 thousand 615 cars, 10 million 3 thousand 696 household refrigerators and freezers were produced in Turkey.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the statistics of industrial products for 2022.
Accordingly, 1 million 119 thousand 615 cars, 10 million 3 thousand 696 household refrigerators and freezers, 254 million 120 thousand 95 tons of ready-mix concrete, 1 million 409 thousand 755 combination (hermetic) boilers, 10 million 869 thousand 892 in Turkey in 2022 Solar cells and 399,272 motorcycles were produced.
Sales of the products produced by the companies amounted to 8 trillion 922 billion 683 million lire. While this value was 4 trillion 209 billion 578 million lira in 2021, it was recorded as 2 trillion 492 billion 754 million lira in 2020.
THE LARGEST PARTICIPATION IN SALES IS THE BASIC METAL INDUSTRY
12.8 percent of said amount of sales corresponded to basic products of the metallurgical industry. It was followed by the products of the food industry with 12.7 percent, the manufacture of land vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (semi-trailers) with 7.8 percent and the products of the textile industry with 7.5 percent.
When products produced in the manufacturing industry in 2022 are classified according to their technology levels, it is seen that products in the high-tech class make up 2.9 percent of the total sales value.
The total of low and medium-low technology groups was 72 percent, and the participation of the medium-high technology group was 25.1 percent.
When classified according to the main industrial groups, 49 percent of the total sales value was made up of intermediate goods and 20.9 percent of non-durable consumer goods. The share of energy was calculated at 8.3 percent. (AA)
