HOW MUCH WAS THE UNEMPLOYMENT SALARY?
If the insured employees meet the conditions specified in the law, unemployment benefits are paid for a specified period and for a specified amount during the period they are unemployed. The unemployment benefit cannot be less than 40 percent of the gross amount of the monthly minimum wage nor exceed 80 percent.

HOW IS UNEMPLOYMENT WAGE CALCULATED?

Unemployment benefit is not subject to any tax or deduction except stamp duty.

It is necessary to submit an application to the nearest Ä°ÅžKUR unit within 30 days after the termination of the service contract. The application can be made by coming to the Ä°ÅžKUR unit in person or electronically at www.iskur.gov.tr. If no application is submitted within 30 days, except by force majeure, the delay in the application is deducted from the total period of entitlement.
For unemployment benefits to be paid, the insured unemployed must be prepared to take up a job. With the application for the unemployment benefit, the registration of the person seeking employment is made or updated. Thus, the unemployed insured receive advisory services, job placement and professional training. Therefore, it is not possible to apply with a power of attorney.

– Have paid an unemployment insurance premium for at least 600 days in the last three years before the termination of the service contract,
– Apply to the nearest İŞKUR unit in person or electronically within 30 days after the termination of the service contract.
HOW LONG IS UNEMPLOYMENT WAGE AWARDED?
In the last three years before the termination of the service contract;
180 days for unemployed insured who worked as insured for 600 days and paid the unemployment insurance premium,
240 days for unemployed insured who worked as insured for 900 days and paid the unemployment insurance premium,
300 days for unemployed insured who worked as insured for 1080 days and paid the unemployment insurance premium,
unemployment benefits are paid for a period of time.
