Inflation of agricultural inputs was 40.20 percent in April
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the agricultural input price index for April 2023.
Thus, in Agri-GFE in April 2023, 0.63 percent compared to the previous month, 9.74 percent compared to December of the previous year, 40.20 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and 97 percent according to twelve month averages. There was an increase of .43.
Compared to the previous month, there was an increase of 0.51 percent in the index of goods and services used in agriculture, and of 1.40 percent in the index of goods and services that contribute to agricultural investment.
Compared with the same month of the previous year, the index of goods and services used in agriculture increased by 36.43 percent and the index of goods and services that contribute to agricultural investment increased by 71.35 percent.
IN APRIL, VETERINARY EXPENSES AND MACHINE MAINTENANCE OBLIGATED
The subgroups with low annual increase were energy and oils with 3.32 percent and fertilizers and soil improvers with 9.11 percent, respectively.
On the other hand, the subgroups with the greatest annual increase were other goods and services with 88.80 percent and materials with 84.14 percent, respectively.
The subgroups that decreased compared to the previous month were energy and oils with 3.65 percent and fertilizers and soil amendments with 0.27 percent, respectively.
For their part, the subgroups with the highest monthly increase were veterinary expenses with 9.08 percent and machinery maintenance expenses with 4.46 percent, respectively.
