Minimum wage statement from Atalay’s meeting with Erdogan
While the meetings of the Commission for the Determination of the Minimum Wage continued in the framework of the work to determine the interim increase in the minimum wage, today in the afternoon a surprise meeting was held.
TÜRK-İŞ President Ergün Atalay went to the AKP headquarters and met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
“50 PERCENT CHANCE OF BEING ANNOUNCED TOMORROW”
Atalay, who gave statements to the press after the meeting, used the following expressions;
* I hope a conclusion will be reached before we meet on Thursday. I conveyed our demands to Mr. President.
* Let’s see what happens. I hope it is a figure close to what we demand.
I think we’ll finish before Thursday. There is a 50 percent chance that it will be announced tomorrow.
