Engine price hike
With the effect of the increase in exchange rates and the international prices of products, there is another increase in the price of diesel.
According to information given by sources in the fuel sector, as of Monday, June 19, the price of a liter of diesel will increase by 1 lira and 64 cents.
Diesel increased by 1 lira 36 cents on June 7 and 1 lira 37 cents on June 9. With the increase that will come in the night that connects from Monday to Tuesday, there will be a rise of 4 liras and 37 cents in diesel only in the last 12 days.
In the last 12 days, the rate of increase for diesel will reach 22.5 percent.
A new price rise is not expected on Monday. Gasoline was last raised by 2 lira 70 cents on June 9.
WHAT WILL THE NEW PRICES BE?
With the new price increase, the price per liter of diesel will increase to approximately TL 23.82 in Istanbul, TL 24.24 in Ankara and TL 24.36 in Izmir.
The price of a liter of gasoline is approximately TL 24.04 in Istanbul, TL 24.45 in Ankara and TL 24.48 in Izmir.
Prices vary between distributors, provinces and districts, depending on distances from refineries and profit margins.
