Providing information to Sozcu.com.tr, President of Turkey’s Monopoly Dealer Platform Özgür AybaÅŸ said that a price increase has been made for a group of cigarettes today, but all cigarettes will increase.
AybaÅŸ stated that due to the competition law, not all companies can announce an increase decision on the same day.

Making a statement to Sozcu.com.tr two weeks ago, AybaÅŸ said that the shipment of most products was still quite limited, while he reported that some products could not be shipped at all.
Although this situation was explained by the fact that the tobacco companies sent abroad at a very high rate and caused disturbances in the domestic market because the banderol did not grow, according to the managers of the monopoly distributor platforms, it was explained that the companies they were protecting themselves due to the rising cost of cigarettes.
