Declaration of reservation of the Minister of Commerce Bolat
Ömer Bolat, who is the Minister of Commerce in the new cabinet, took over the task from Mehmet Muş. Bolat said: “We want to improve our current account deficit and increase foreign exchange reserves by constantly growing our exports of goods and services.”
Ömer Bolat took over as Trade Minister from Mehmet Muş with the handover ceremony held at the Ministry.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mehmet Muş said that they made important structural changes during his ministry. Stating that he is happy that Bolat is the Minister of Commerce, Muş said: “I feel very comfortable. This is a relay race. We take it to a certain level. Hopefully our Minister will take it to a better level. The state always goes head to head. It will be the same here. I have not the slightest doubt about it. There will definitely be better services,” he said.

Commerce Minister Ömer Bolat thanked Mehmet Muş, who served as minister in the previous term, and the employees of the ministry.
Bolat stated that he would benefit from the ideas and input of all directors and employees of the Ministry of Commerce and made the following statements:

Stating that he worked in many institutions of the economy and the real sector in his business life of 41 years, Bolat said: “I am well acquainted with our business world, industrial and commercial organizations, and organized industrial zones. Expressing that they want to reduce the current account deficit and increase their foreign exchange reserves, Bolat said, “In Turkey’s century, we will work hard for the welfare and happiness of our people with a strong economy. In terms of protecting the purchasing power of our people, it is our priority to accelerate the downward trend in the inflation rate of the last 6-7 months, and to ensure price stability as a government,” he said.
