Local The Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK), which launched its activities in 2018 with the claim that it will bring big revenue to the country by issuing ‘halal certificates’ to foreign institutions, also received its share of the increases. HAK, whose budget has increased 2.4 times this year to 22,816,000 TL, has made a big increase in the fees for the 2023 courses. Those who want to work in related fields can attend the online Halal Compliance Course, which is limited to 20 people. After the exam at the end of the training, successful participants receive a ‘certificate of achievement’ valid for 5 years.

IT WAS THE SUBJECT OF CRITICISM
