Banking sources said that the Central Bank (CBRT) and the deputy general managers of the banks will meet today and hope that a general evaluation will be made at the meeting.
Four bank sources told Reuters that CBRT Vice President Taha Çakmak and the vice presidents of the banks in charge of treasury will meet today. The CBRT had no comment on the matter.
KKM is also expected to be spoken.
One banker said: “There will be a meeting with the deputy general managers of the banks responsible for the Treasury tonight. There will be a general exchange of views, ”he said.
Another banker said: “There will be a general assessment, and currency-protected deposit accounts are expected to be discussed as well.”
