Dutch industry plans to invest 15% more this year than last year, for example in new machines, means of transport and computers, but also in sustainability and energy savings. This was reported by Statistics Netherlands. Refineries and chemical companies in particular are positive for investment. In the textile industry, investment is expected to be significantly lower.

Refineries and the chemical industry plan to invest 30% more this year than in 2022. Companies in the metallurgical industry also plan to invest significantly more. However, textile manufacturers expect a 23% drop. Entrepreneurs from the paper and graphics industry and the transportation industry are also more negative.
