The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the Foreign Producer Price Index (YD-PPI) for March.

Monthly variations of the two industry sectors; 2.20 percent increase in mining and extraction, 2.43 percent increase in manufacturing.

According to the annual YD-PPI, 9 sub-sectors changed lower and 16 sub-sectors showed higher changes.

SECTORS WITH HIGHEST MONTHLY INCREASE

Among the YD-PPI sectors, coke and refined petroleum products were the subsectors where the indices increased the least at 14.70 percent, metallic minerals at 17.72 percent and base metals at 28.20. percent.

For their part, beverages were 64.15 percent, other non-metallic mineral products 55.80 percent, machines and equipment 53.24 percent, the subsectors where the rates increased the most.

According to the monthly YD-PPI, 13 sub-sectors changed lower and 12 sub-sectors showed higher changes.

Printing and recording services at 0.74 percent, beverages at 0.72 percent and computers, electronics and optics at 0.05 percent, among the YD-PPI sectors, were the subsectors where the indices fell the most.

On the other hand, other manufactures with 4.14 percent, motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers with 4.11 percent, machinery and equipment with 3.89 percent, were the subsectors where the indices increased the most.
