5 thousand 835 companies closed in 4 months
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) announced the statistics of established and closed companies for April 2023.
Thus, in April 1,458 more companies were closed and in the first 4 months of the year a total of 5,835 companies were closed.
Compared with the previous month, the number of closed businesses decreased by 1.9 percent, the number of cooperatives closed by 36.4 percent, while the number of closed commercial businesses of natural persons increased by 13.3 percent. .
In April 2023, the number of closed businesses decreased by 34.2 percent, the number of closed cooperatives decreased by 44.4 percent compared to the same month in 2022, while the number of people trading businesses closed physical increased by 16.8 percent.
NUMBER OF ESTABLISHED COMPANIES DECREASED 19 PERCENT
On the other hand, the number of incorporated companies decreased by 19 percent, the number of individual commercial companies incorporated by 28.4 percent, and the number of cooperatives incorporated by 13.7 percent compared to the previous month.
In April 2023, compared to April 2022, the number of established enterprises decreased by 14.7 percent, the number of established natural person business enterprises decreased by 18.9 percent, while the number of cooperatives established companies increased by 38.7 percent.
