Çavuşoğlu: We will provide rental contributions to officials at the provincial and district levels
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu drew attention to the three problems that the majority of citizens expressed during the election campaign and started working to find a solution.
“The first of these is the exorbitant rent increases in Antalya,” Çavuşoğlu said. However, this problem is not only a result of crises; by the cunning of opportunists. “This is not moral, it is not humane,” he said.
Çavuşoğlu said, “We will do what is necessary with legal regulations and additional measures,” adding, “We will provide rental contributions to civil servants in big cities at the provincial and district level. With the help of TOKİ, we will quickly bring new houses to our region and ensure the balance between supply and demand.”
“The second issue is that some of our districts could not benefit from agricultural incentives due to the provisions of the legislation. After discussing this with our Ministry of Agriculture, we immediately started working,” the minister said.
Çavuşoğlu, who was elected as an Antalya deputy, held a general evaluation meeting after the May 14 elections with the participation of other Antalya deputies elected from his party and the provincial heads of parties within the People’s Alliance. (DHA)
