A Memur-Sen Increase Request

Memur-Sen affirmed that the income gap between civil servants and workers opened after the New Year, and demanded an accelerated increase without wasting time and without waiting for July.

In the document made by the Board of Directors of Memur-Sen, the Framework Protocol of the Collective Agreement for Public Work was evaluated, which determines the economic and social rights of more than 700 thousand public workers in the public sector.

It was indicated that Memur-Sen took responsibility for the compensation and settlement of public officials’ grievances, expectations, concerns and losses in all circumstances and conditions.

“We strongly emphasize that the necessary paradigm shift is essential in the order and term of collective bargaining. We affirm that the difference in inflation, which is the gain from our union struggle, is the insurance against losses that may occur in the future, and we bring to the agenda in every process, at a real and intellectual level, that compensation for inflation it is not an option, but an obligation to make up for past losses.
