Real estate sales declined 29 percent in April
Real estate sales in Turkey in April decreased by 29 percent compared to March.
According to the information received from the officials of the General Directorate of Property Registration and Cadastre of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, last month 214 thousand 947 real estate purchase and sale transactions were carried out in Turkey. From these transactions, 4 billion 338 million 172 thousand 341 liras of income from writing rights were obtained.
The purchase and sale operations consisted of 83 thousand 347 homes, 38 thousand 17 plots of land, 68 thousand 760 fields, 8 thousand 546 workplaces and the rest of other properties.
29 PERCENT DECREASE IN APRIL
These transactions, registered in April, decreased 29 percent compared to March, when 277,496 real estate sales were made.
Among the 10 provinces with the highest number of sales transactions, Istanbul ranked first with 23,397.
Istanbul with 16,307, Ankara with 12,228, Izmir with 9,115, Antalya with 8,401, Konya with 7,412, TekirdaÄŸ with 6,580, Kocaeli with 6,441, with 5,862. Balikesir and Mersin followed with 5 thousand 553. (BRITISH AUTOMOBILE CLUB)
