Elon Musk Comment From Famous Investor Warren Buffett
The famous American billionaire and the fifth richest person in the world Warren Buffet and his partner Charlie Munger announced their thoughts on Elon Musk at the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting.
Buffett and Munger said that Elon Musk dreams bigger than themselves and has overcome much tougher problems. Investors who said this sometimes helped Musk achieve great success, sometimes said it led to failure.
Munger said of Elon Musk: “If he hadn’t set himself extreme goals, he wouldn’t have achieved what he has achieved in life. He likes to take on impossible tasks and get them done.” He said that they are different from Elon Musk, they look for easy jobs and they don’t want to fail.
“WE DON’T WANT TO COMPETE WITH ELON”
Buffett, the 92-year-old CEO of Berkshire, asserted that Elon Musk focuses on much more difficult problems, saying: “He is dedicated to solving the impossible and he will from time to time. But that would be torture for me or for Charlie,” he said.
Stating that he is on completely different paths with Elon Musk, Buffett said: “We don’t want to compete with Elon on a lot of issues.”
ANSWER FROM ELON MUSK
Elon Musk, for his part, responded to the comments about him by responding to the tweet containing the statements by Buffett and Munger.
“Thank you for the kind words from Warren and Charlie,” Musk said on Twitter.
Warren Buffet is the fifth-richest person in the world, worth $113 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Musk is the second richest person in the world with a fortune of 169 billion dollars.
