Free natural gas decision in the Official Gazette
The procedures and principles determined by the EMRA in relation to the ‘Implementation of the Presidential Decree on Tariffs for the Use of the System for the Consumption of Natural Gas’ were published in the Official Gazette.
According to the decision, all fees and use taxes will be covered from the budget of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources between April 24 and May 31.
The total amount to be paid will be shown as ‘0’ TL on the invoice. Incorrectly accrued invoices will be cancelled.
The amounts collected will be returned by the companies in cash within 3 business days. With the norm, the cost of natural gas consumption will be deducted from the invoice until May 1, 2024 and up to 25 cubic meters.
Making a statement on the subject, EMRA Chairman Mustafa Yılmaz stated that 19.7 million subscribers will benefit from this app and 40 billion TL will remain in the pockets of citizens thanks to the app. (DHA)
