Approval of a 250 million euro loan from the Council of Europe Development Bank to Turkey

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) has provided a loan of 250 million euros for the recovery of Turkey’s health sector after the earthquake disaster that occurred in Kahramanmaraş on February 6 and killed more than 50,000 people. .

The statement on the institution’s website, dated yesterday, said: “The 250 million euro loan approved by the CEB will help the government to restore critical health services in the short term and create a durable health infrastructure. in the medium term”. .

PART OF 500 MILLION EUROS

In the statement, it was stated that the newly approved loan is part of the 500 million euros pledged to the peoples of Turkey and Syria, announced by CEB President Carlo Monticelli at the donation conference last month.
