Minister Nabati shared the details of the exemption from the SCT
Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati stated that, within the scope of the regulation of the Excise Tax on Consumption announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, passenger cars with an SCT rate between 45 and 80 percent of commercial taxis and whose engine cylinder volume does not exceed 1600 cubic centimeters will be included in the scope of the SCT exemption and stated that it will be determined by the legislative arrangement that is elaborated.
In his speech in the Gemlik district of Bursa, President Erdoğan announced that merchants operating taxis, minibuses, minibuses, midibuses, buses, tow trucks, and commercial trucking will not be charged SCT when renewing their vehicles.
