State VIP vehicle hungry for citizens

The vehicle is in charge of supplying all kinds of stationery and office supplies and office machinery, lighting, heating-cooling tools, cleaning supplies, tools and equipment, vehicles and construction machinery for public institutions and agencies that are subject to public law, under public control or using public resources, was acquired by the Department of Purchasing of the General Directorate of State Supply, which is the main public company, on March 31, 2023, through private bidding with the modality of ‘haggling’. It was not indicated for which institution the vehicle was purchased.

DMO signed a contract on November 29, 2022 and bought the Mercedes-Benz S 400 d 4Matic L Inspiration from the state. Although DMO bought the vehicle for TL 2,149,200 excluding tax, the market value for that period was seen to be over TL 8 million.
