EYT traders expect good news
CEM YILDIRIM
Stating that it is time to meet the expectations of many traders and artisans who cannot benefit from the EYT agreement, TESK President Bendevi Palandöken said: “Our traders and artisans who work on their own behalf, farm workers, victims of internships and thousands of traders who cannot retire due to revival want to benefit from EYT. . Now we await the good news on this subject. With the good news to come, it is very important to ensure equality, especially in the standards union, in terms of getting rewarded for effort in working life.
In his statement, Palandöken said: “The Social Security Institution is a place where the problems of all Bağ-Kur, SSK and Pension Fund employees can be solved together. However, since there is no normative union, SSK employees retire with 7,200 bonus days, while Bağ-Kur artisans and craftsmen retire with 9,000 bonus days. All employees should be able to retire at the same time, on equal terms and with equal pay, ensuring unity of standards. We argue that a system in which the employee is paid more than himself is wrong. The grievances of the merchants, who for years have accelerated the economy and provided a serious resource to the State with the taxes they paid, must be eliminated without loss of time.
Stating that the internship period should be counted towards retirement, Palandöken said, “It is very important to remove these grievances and bring joy to millions of people with their families. Now is the time to meet the expectations of our merchants.”
