Outstanding details in the TGNA decision that acquits the accounts of the SEE

The CHP opposed the acquittal of some of the public institutions whose accounts were discussed in the GIT Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Turkish Hard Coal Institution, one of the loss-making SEEs, posted a loss of 15 million 172 thousand lira in 2019, 11 million 987 thousand lira in 2020, and its loss in two years amounted to 27 million 159 thousand lira. Turkish sugar factories were also among the SEEs that posted losses. Turkish sugar factories lost a total of 1.928 million 309 thousand lira in 2019 and 2020.

The loss of the Meat and Milk Institution, which was 34 million 664 thousand lira in 2019, increased to 222 million 991 thousand lira in 2020. The increase in damage was about 7 times.

It was observed that the Directorate of Tea Enterprises had a continuous loss from 2017 to 2020. Tea Enterprises lost 267 million 742 thousand lira in 2017, 657 million 86 thousand lira in 2018, 635 million 92 thousand lira in 2019, 547 million 247 thousand lira in 2020 and 2 billion 107 million 167 thousand lire in total. The total loss of the PTT in 2019-2020 was 1,000 million 959 million TL, among the SEEs that registered losses.

LOSS OF 11 BILLION 761 LIRA

The total loss of the General Directorate of State Railways for the years 2019-2020 is 6 thousand 413 million 318 thousand liras.

The total 2019-2020 loss of these companies was 11.761 billion lira.
